American Oil & Gas ("AEZ"), is an oil/gas exploration and development ("E&P") company based in Denver, Colorado.  While small and relativelty unknown, the company has accumulated significant interests in a handful of promising prospects located primarily in the Rocky Mountain region including Wyoming, Montana and Utah.  These projects  are a bit of an eclectic mix in the sense that they involve both oil and gas resources from both conventional and uncoventional sources, as well as being in various stages of exploitation.  For example, as the full coverage report delineates, some of the properties are currently producing, while others  have actually produced in the past  or are in close proximity to other producing properties.  In that regard, the company's approach is to identify properties that they believe for a variety of reasons exibit strong liklihoods for resource discovery and production  and then joint venture the development of those properties with others to mitigate some of the risks typical of oil and gas exploration activity.

As I said, the company is currently generating reveues and profitability from producing properties, and my expectation is that over the near/intermediate terms, the company will be able to provide considerably more information regading the viability of other properties.
